Aims & Scope

The Australian Journal of Early Career Research (AJECR) publishes rigorous, original, and methodologically sound research authored by early career researchers across a broad range of disciplines.

The term early career refers to the career stage of authors — including doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and early career academics — and does not denote or imply any reduction in scholarly standards. All manuscripts are evaluated against the journal’s quality, originality, and ethical requirements.

AJECR welcomes submissions from (including but not limited to):

  • Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Education, Linguistics, and Cultural Studies
  • Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)
  • Health, Environmental, and Sustainability Studies
  • Interdisciplinary and emerging research areas
